Cast-Off pg.2

Per normal the expressions and poses of the brothers is flawless. I love the way you pulled off the snowflakes too. I think I understand what it was you were doing with the first two frames at the top of the picture but because there is so little detail to begin with it took studying the frames several times before I got that they were emerging from the man-whole into the snow covered alley above with the street in the background. The portion of the picture which threw me (and understand I could simply be really dense here) was what appears to be the crosswalk markings at the end of the alley peaking out from the other side of the piled up snow. For a while I thought those marks were shadows cast from a bar covered window or something. I think perhaps if the walls of the buildings on either side were a little more prominent it might make it easier for us slow ones(like myself) to catch on to. The small box frame's position made me wonder if Leo was thinking of stepping in the snow or he already had since we see the footprint there already and now he was thinking of doing it again. All in all a neat painting/drawing and simply love the story it tells.
